Covid 19 Response
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we assisted out-of-work migrant workers with basic sustenance packages in remote tribal villages of Madhya Pradesh and Utter Pradesh.
We provided 2500 kgs of PPE Kits and hand sanitizers to various hospitals and clinics in addition to providing oxygen supplies and oxygen concentrators. We also opened a well-equipped Polyclinic to assist patients suffering from various critical illnesses. When the vaccination became available, we organized vaccination campaigns in rural communities in partnership with regional health centers.
Fire Relief
We assist communities who suffered fire outbreaks that destroyed their dwelling places by helping with basic necessities and temporary shelters.
Devi’s family lost everything in the fire that destroyed everything they had in their tiny dwelling place. The fire even destroyed the bicycle to go to work. When all hope was lost, our compassionate leaders on the ground stepped in. As a result, we responded to their immediate need by providing food, clothing, cooking utensils and, most importantly, a dwelling place.
A year later, the community is thriving again; Devi is looking into the future optimistic with access to online education for her children, empowerment and skillset opportunities available in the community through online platforms.
